Wikileaks have exposed the nexus between Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and the US Administration more nakedly. It has established the objections being expressed by Congress Secular Hindu Forum since last three and half years that Dr Manmohan Singh is the stooge of US Administration and he has been doing is best to preserve and protect the interests of  the US in India.

The cables from the US Embassy in India released so far by Wikileaks provide a revealing picture of Indo-US relations and the extent of US interference in India’s domestic political affairs. The manner in which the US Embassy intervened to influence Indian political parties and opinion-makers on the Nuclear Deal, the pressures on foreign policy matters such as the attitude towards Iran, are all lay out. One cable reports that Indian officials are ‘loathe admitting publicly that India and the US have begun coordinating foreign policies.’ 

 The cables also exposed that how Dr Manmohan Singh tried to keep US interests in tact by keeping those loyal to US in key positions of the country, particularly in areas related to the economic activity. It is open secret that he has been attempting since some time to bring Dr Montek Singh Ahluwalia as Finance Minister of the country, since Sri P Chidambaram was forced to shift to Home following Mumbai blasts.

Congress Secular Hindu Form has been accusing since a long that Dr Manmohan Singh’s pro-US policies are responsible for price hike, growing unemployment, inflation and other economic ills of the country. Atleast on two occasions, during the Indo-US Nuclear deal and also Nuclear Liability Bill, the Prime Minister had exposed himself that he is loyal to US, more than to Indian people.

It is also now exposed that how disgraceful he was by resorting to `cash-for-votes’ to save his seat of power. Now it is also clear that his office became center to all series of severe corrupt practices that are being exposed every day in the country.

Congress Secular Hindu Forum demands the AICC President Smt Soniaji to immediately sack Dr Manmohan Singh from Prime Minister seat, as he has demonstrated clearly he will stick to his seat of power at any cost. His removal from the power is urgently needed to save the Congress party from people’s angry and also to save the Nation from the economic looting and political maneuvering of US.

We also demand that Home Minister Sri Chidambaram and Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Dr Montek Singh Ahluwalia also should be sacked immediately, as they are now proved to be lobbying with US interests.

Under these circumstances, Congress Secular Hindu Forum believes that the only Congress leader who can save the country from this crisis is Finance Minister Sri Pranab Mukherjee. It demands the Congress President and UPA Chairperson Smt Sonia ji immediately should take steps to replace Dr Manmohan Singh with Sri Pranab Mukherjee as Prime Minister of the country. He is the only capable leader who can save the country and particularly the Congress party from the present mess.

The WikiLeaks also exposed the true and opportunistic nature of the main opposition Bharateeya Janata Party. Though they have been taking anti-US positions sometimes only to put Congress-led UPA in embarrassment, the leaks proved they have been assuring US diplomats their `loyalty’ towards US interests.  By attracting Hindu voters in the name of `swadeshi’, it is now proved that BJP leadership has been colluding with US and working against to the interests of the country. This has established that top BJP leaders have been colluding with Dr Manmohan Singh to protect the interests of US in the country, at the cost of our national security.

The Congress Secular Hindu Forum (CSHF) strongly opposes the United State and its allies air strikes on Libya. We firmly believe that it is for the people of Libya to decide how to resolve their problems and what kind of a political system they need.

We are disturbed with the United Nation’s Security Council resolution empowering US and its allies to resort for military action against Libya. We urge the Indian government to intervene and make it clear that the US and its allies have “no right whatsoever” to violate the sovereignty of Libya in the name of humanitarian intervention.

This has exposed the evil-intentions of the US and its allies to get control over oil-rich region of the world just on the lines it had earlier declared war on Iraq. The western powers are interested mainly in the oil wealth of Libya and seek to utilize the revolt against the C ol. Gaddafi regime to pursue their own interests.

We demand that the Indian government should “unambiguously:” declare that no military intervention of any sort should be resorted to by the US or NATO. We are extremely worried as the US has positioned its warships off the coast of Libya.

We demand that the Indian government should seek a review of the United Nation’s Security Council resolution authorizing military action against Libya and the creation of `no-fly zone’ over the country. It also should call for a halt to the military action until the review is over.

We are happy to note that India is among five members of the Security Council, who had abstained from voting on the resolution.  We should realize that the military strikes by NATO forces comprising France, Britain and the United States are a dangerous act of aggression. The NATO is now repeating what it did in Iraq, which led to the death of millions of people and large-scale destruction.

We demand that the Indian government should declare the military action is a violation of Libya’s sovereignty and a calculated action in an internal conflict to bring about a regime change.  We should expose the hypocrisy of the Western powers, which was connivance with the Saudi military intervention to crush the popular and peaceful revolt in Bahrain, but they are now acting just in opposite way in Libya.

Antony visit to Chiranjeevi demoralized Congress cadre in Andhra Pradesh

OPEN LETTER TO Hon’ble Congress President Smt. Soniaji

The Congress Secular Hindu Forum (CSHF) is shocked to know that you have deputed senior Congress leader and union Defence Minister Sri A K Antony to Hyderabad on January 31, 2011, to invite Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) president Sri Chiranjeevi for talks to Delhi. It was also reported in the media that Sri Antony was sent to formalize electoral alliance between Congress and PRP in the next Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh.

After the electoral defeat in 2009 elections, Sri Chiranjeevi has been losing his electoral support in Andhra Pradesh steeply and he is finding it difficult to contain his own MLAs within his party. Some of them have been openly associating with Sri Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and extending support to him.

Sri Antony’s Hyderabad visit has demoralized the Congress cadre in the state and also damaged the prestige of the party and also your prestige in the eyes of the people in the state. Sri Chiranjeevi  is not such a big leader to depute such senior leader to invite him for Delhi. As in the case of earlier occasions, he is always ready to meet you even invitation was extended through some of your personnel staff over telephone.

Congress workers in the state were shocked to hear that Sri Antony was deputed by AICC General Secretary Sri Rahul Gandhi and in fact he carried a letter from the later. If that was the true, that would amount to insult the position of Sri Antony, who was three-time Chief Minister of Kerala and is in the Union Cabinet for the second time. CSHF hopes that it is not good to lower the status of such a senior leader, who is now holding very important ministry like Defence, to the level of a messenger.

CSHF fearing that this initiative may spoil the Congress fortunes in Andhra Pradesh, which has remained as a major source of strength for surviving Congress-led UPA Government at the Center. This would bring down the party status to the levels of states like West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu. We have to make it clear to you that Congress General Secretary Sri Rahul Gandhi, your political secretary Sri Ahmad Patel and  union minister Sri A K Antony, besides yourself should be held responsibility to the party’s disastrous state of affairs in those states.

Congress workers in Andhra Pradesh suspecting that Sri Antony was deputed to Hyderabad following a secret pack between Smt Sonia Gandhi and Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy, to facilitate the later to become politically dominant figure in the state. It is believed that Congress attempt to reach into electoral alliance with Sri Chiranjeevi will take away powerful sections from Congress into the fold of Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy. That would facilitate Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy to emerge as single largest party in Andhra Pradesh in Assembly elections, while Congress-Chiranjeevi combine may not get more than 40 to 50 seats.

In such scenario, it is suspected that a plot was designed to form coalition government in Andhra Pradesh making Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy as Chief Minister and Congress remain as junior partner on the lines of NCP-Congress coalition in Maharashtra.

CSHF is suspecting that such a plot was designed due to pressures from foreign Christian Missionaries and UN Consulate General and Sri Antony, who is a strong believer in Christianity, was deputed for this task.  We never expected such a move from you only to please foreign Christian Missionaries and protect US interests, at the cost of the survival of Congress party in the state.

The people in general in the state are of the view, that Union Minister of State for Defense Sri M Pallam Raju has been misguiding the Congress high command, through Sri Antony, facilitating for a political understanding with Sri Chiranjeevi

In this connection, we wish to bring to your notice the fate of Congress party in West Bengal, following a splitter group from the party Bangla Congress, headed by Sri Ajay Mukherjee, formed government in 1967, reaching into alliance with CPM and making Sri Jyoti Basu as Deputy Chief Minister.

Though that government survived only for eight months, then President rule was promulgated and later again in 1969 elections, same combination came into power,  CPM make use this opportunity to strengthen their cadre and party in West Bengal and weaken Congress party cadre and structure. Though Congress return to power in 1971, it failed to regain its strength and in 1977 CPM had won on its own and Sri Jyoti Basu became Chief Minister. Since them, West Bengal is in the clutches of CPM.

If Sri Chiranjeevi is now made as Deputy Chief Minister, CSHF fears that he may use this opportunity to strengthen his base. Make use of his fan following, he will try to take regime of the state government for a long time. In such scenario, Congress is likely to remain as a junior partner.

That’s only, CSHF is strongly opposing to reach into any electoral alliance or political understanding with Sri Chiranjeevi and we cautions  the party high command such a move would weaken the Congress party in the state. Bringing Sri Chiranjeevi close to power structure would be dangerous for Congress party more than facing challenge from Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy.

We wish to bring to your notice that all Congress workers in the state are also against reaching into any political understanding with Sri Chiranjeevi. We request you to respect the sentiments of Congress party cadre and save the party from such onslaughts. Otherwise, we cautioned you that would be disastrous for the survival of the part even at the national level.

Already, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Sri N Kiran Kumar Reddy is heading one of most unpopular government in the state as most of his ministers are corrupt and lost public support. Instead of reaching into understanding with Sri Chiranjeevi to save this unpopular government, CSHF is of the view, it would be better to promulgate president rule in the state and save the Congress party.

OPEN LETTER TO Hon’ble Congress President Smt Sonia Gandhi

  Sub :  Request to remove Dr Manmohan Singh from Prime Minister

                               Position and make Sri Pranab Mukherjee as Prime Minister.

Respected Madam Smt Soniaji,

Sadar Namaskar,

The Congress Secular Hindu Forum (CSHF) is shocked to came to know through news papers about possible reshuffle in the Union Cabinet around third week of January, 2011.It was reported that you had a meeting with Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh on Saturday, 8-1-2011 on this issue. We strongly felt that it is the high time to change the Prime Minister himself, instead of making some cosmetic changes in the cabinet, to win over the confidence of the people towards Congress leadership.

You may be aware that Congress-led UPA Government has been fastly losing its popularity in the country in recent times due to exposure of number of corrupt deals, soaring rise in the prices of essential commodities and mis-governence by Dr Manmoahn Singh’s team. This has been leading to the steep fall in the popularity rating of Dr Manmoan Singh, Sri Rahul Gandhi and also your-selves, resulting possible debacle of Congress party in forthcoming elections in various states. It was also indicated that if elections are held to Lok Sabha around this time, Congress is unlikely to retain its power at the Center.

Congress party workers and supporters all over the country have been worrying with these indications. They are of the view that UPA Government failed to work for the development of the country and well-being of the people, but only some power brokers, corrupt leaders and corporate houses are the major beneficiaries of this Government.

Various corrupt deals exposed in recent times, mainly that of 2-G Spectrum deal, in which a revenue loss of Rs 1.76 lakh crore for the Government was estimated by CAG, are said to be responsible for the growing anti-incumbency waves which have been spreading in the country against Congress party . As these corrupt practices were routed through Prime Minister’s office and Dr Manmohan Singh so far failed to give any credible answer for his inaction in all these issues, CSHF strongly believe his continuation in office even for a day costs dearly to the electoral fortunate of the Congress party.

So, we humbly request you to replace Dr Manmohan Singh with Finance Minister Sri Pranab Mukherje as Prime Minister and give him free hand to form his own cabinet with honest and trust worthy leaders, who can win back the confidence of the people. You may be aware, that Sri Pranab Mukherjee is the senior most leader in the party with vast administrative experience and also clean image.

Even now, Sri Pranab Mukherjee known as major `trouble shooter’ for the Congress party, has been discharging two third of responsibilities that a Prime Minister is expected to perform in the Government and swings into action whenever the party or the government found in some or other trouble.

In the present circumstances, CSHF trusts that the need of the hour is to change the Prime Minister, by making Sri Pranab Mukherjee as Prime Minister, but not to take up some minor changes in the Union Cabinet. We are confident that Sri Pranab Mukherjee will provide stable government and also win over the confidence of the people with his administrative initiatives, which would strengthen your leadership in the Congress party.

After CSHF pasted posters in Delhi, opposing the proposal of making Sri A K Antony as Prime Minister and stating that people’s choice is Sri Pranab Mukherjee, we have been receiving overwhelming support from Congress party leaders and workers all over the country. This has indicated that over 90 per cent of Congress workers and leaders have been seeking to make Sri Pranab Mukherjee as Prime Minister of the country.

We are disturbed over the reports that Sri Rahul Gandhi is proposing the name of Lok Sabha speaker Smt Meira Kumar for Prime Minister Position. You have already weakened the party and also the country by ignoring several senior leaders in the party and preferring Dr Manmohan Singh for this position in 2004. In the same way, if you prefer to choose another `weak’ candidate in the name of giving representation for weaker sections, we fear party workers and people at large in the country will not accept it.

We wish to make it clear that except Sri Pranab Mukherjee, people are not ready to accept any other name for this position.  We are reiterating CSHF demand to make Sri Pranab Mukherjee as Prime Minister. We wish to inform you that if you failed to respect our demand, we would be forced to stall the proceedings of Parliament budget session.

We fear that if you failed to respond to the demand of the party cadre and also people of the country to replace Dr Manmohan Singh with Sri Pranab Mukherjee as Prime Minister of the country at this crucial juncture, the history may not excuse us. The country may point towards us if the Congress party pushed to the opposition benches very soon.

Being heading this 125-year old largest political party in the world, Congress party, we strongly felt it would be your responsibility to honour the sentiments and view of the party cadre and also leaders.  We are only remembering you the party cadre’s demand to make Sri Pranab Murkherjee as Prime Minister. All the Congress supporerts and part cadre in the country are strongly felt that he can only ensure to bring back Congress into power in 2014 general elections..

CSHF is also shocked to go through some news paper reports that you are proposing to make Sri A K Antony as Home Minister of the Country. We wish to make it clear that Congress workers all over the country cannot accept such a proposal. Moreover, we demand to remove him from the Cabinet as he was strong opponent of Smt Indira Gandhi’s leadership in the Congress party.

You may be aware, when Smt Indira Gandhi was struggling hard to bring back Congress into power after it was defeated in the hand of Janata Party in 1977, Sri Antony was among those leaders who revolted against her leadership and suspended her from the Congress party. We wish to remember you at that time we are all in the forefront in starting Congress (I) under the dynamic leadership of Smt Indira Gandhi and now you are heading the same party.

 When Smt Indira Gandhi decided to contest in the LoK Sabha by-elections from Chikamangalur constituency in Karnataka state in 1978 so that to start her fight against Janata Party regime, the then Karnataka Chief Minister Sri Devaraj Urs, who was also the president of Congress (Urs) decided to support her candidature. At that time Sri Antony was Chief Minister of Kerala and he was in Congress (Urs).

Sri Antony had strongly protested Sri Devraj Urs decision to support Smt Indira Gandhi candidature and resigned from Chief Ministership and also from Congress (Urs). He had strongly opposed moves of Smt Indira Gandhi to fight against Janta Party regime and restore Congress rule at  the Center. Later he formed a regional party in Kerala,  that known as Congress (Antony).

We also wish to remember you that Sri Antony was the main architect in Kerala in the formation of Left Democratic Front (LDF), headed by CPM, as a strong opposition for Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF), in 1980. He had plotted by hijacking Congress allies CPI, Kerala Congress (Mani) and RSP from its fold, by joining hands with CPM along with his Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee – KPCC (Antony) that led to formation of CPM Government headed by Sri E K Nayanar.

Sri Antony had never respects Congress workers in Kerala or anywhere in the country and always working against to their interests. We feel continuation of such leader in the Union Cabinet would weaken the Congress party and also demoralize the Congress cadre.

At a time when the entire Congress party is making moves to save the Congress party from these corrupt allegations, the party cadre is unable to digest the “irresponsible” moves of the union minister Sri Kapil Sibal, who is now holding I T Ministry after the resignation of Sri A Raja on corruption charges in 2 G Spectrum scandal. Sri Sibal’s uncalled  remarks have been giving  an impression to the public that  the government is attempting to protect the beneficiaries of these corrupt deals. We regretted to note that Sri Kapil Sibal is trying to `whitewash’ the 2G Spectrum scam.

Congress party cadre and also the people of India would not buy Sri Kapil Sibal’s argument that the Comptroller and Audit-General’s (CAG) finding on the loss of Rs 1.76 lakh crore was “utterly erroneous and without any basis”. When investigations are going on at various levels on this scam, we wonder how can the concerned minister tries to give `clean certificate’ to the people involved in the scam. To save the Congress party from this embarrassment, CSHF demands you immediately sack  Sri Kapil Sibal from the Union Cabinet.

We appeal to you, it is high time for you to take some strong decisions to save the Congress party and thus India from the present uncertainty and also to restore confidence of the people on the Congress party and it’s Government. At the present hour of crisis, Congress party workers all over the country are expecting bold initiatives from you in this regard. You should immediately swing into action by removing Dr Manmohan Singh from the office and make Sri Pranab Mukherjee as Prime Minister to save the Congress Party and also the Country.

We fear that further continuation of Dr Manmohan Singh in office would spoil the Congress party image further so that the situation may beyond our control to save the party. We look forward for immediate positive response from you to save the Congress party and weakening popularity of UPA Government headed by Dr Manmohan Singh. In the present hour of crisis, we strongly felt that Sri Pranab Mukherje is the only leader who can rescue the party and the government from the present mess created by Dr Manmohan Singh and his team. We trust you would respect the sentiments of the party cadre in this regard.

We want Pranab Mukherjee as Prime Minister

We were shocked to see the observations of Ms Coomi  Kapoor in her regular column, published in Indian Express news paper on Dec 05, 2010, referring to the wall posters pasted by Congress Secular Hindu Forum activists in New Delhi, recently. We expect when a reputed journalist makes a comment, she/he should try to verify facts, get accurate information and may comment based upon facts. But we afraid to say no such practice was observed here. Moreover, it looks like `stenographer’ journalism, rather than `journalism of courage’ for which Indian Express is credited throughout several decades.

We really shocked to see how she could come to the conclusion referring our Forum as `mischievous organization’ and our posters added woes to Sri Pranab Mukherjee. If she is ignorant about this organization, she should try to get facts. Are she gets inputs from Sri Pranab Mukherjee to suspect our posters added `woes’ to him?

Congress Secular Hindu Forum (CSHF) has been functioning since more than three and half years, with in the Congress party, with the active support of several Hindu-minded leaders and cadres from all over the country. Our party high command is well aware of this organization. We have been frequently conveying our point of view on almost all important issues to the party high command.

Only recently, we proposed to put up our candidate in the AICC President elections and asked the party Chief Election Officer Sri Oscar Fernands to postpone the elections for six months, so that to complete electoral process in all the states as per rules and also enable us to decide our candidate after consulting all Hindu-minded leaders and also campaign in support of our candidate.

We have also launched massive campaign from Vijaya Dasami, October 17,2010 to make senior most politician and able administrator in the country Sri Pranab Mukherjee as Prime Minister. As a beginning of this campaign, for one week we have sent SMSs to all our party workers all over the country seeking their support to our campaign. The campaign was conducted from October 17 to 23. The text of the SMS is :

“Pray Durga Matha make Pranab Dada as Prime Minister. Save Hindustan-Save Congress. Dasara greetings from Congress Secular Hindu Forum”

In return, party workers forwarded the SMS to their friends and they forwarded to others. Like that way, it has reached large number of people.

If Ms Coomi Kapoor is ignorant of such mass campaign in the country, we are helpless. As a professional journalist, we hope it would be her duty to explore happenings, before making such `irresponsible’ comment on a genuine political movement, like us.

The posters campaign was also launched in many cities of India. We really shocked to know how Ms Coomi Kapoor `digged’ and `realized’ that Sri Pranab Mukherjee tried to get the posters removed and he believes they have been brought out by his enemies to embarrass him. 

If Ms Coomi Kapoor knows that Sri Pranab Mukherjee get removed those posts, is she also says that he asked the people to throw away mobile phones for receiving SMSs ? Is there any basis for her `exposure’?

The news about posters was published in many other familiar news papers all over the country, including Times of India. Some TV News Channels in Southern India also have highlighted these  posters and our movement. But none of them able to `dig’ like Ms Coomi Kapoor and could assess the `mind’ of Sri Pranab Mukherjee like that. The way in which, she presented her comment makes us to suspect her intentions. Is she is trying to take up the cause of some one?

Congress Secular Hindu Forum was also actively championed the cause of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) at Tirumala in Andhra Pradesh, when our own Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhra Reddy’s family and relatives tried to misuse it for the spreading of Christianity and dilute its sacredness. We demanded our party president Smt Sonia Gandhi to direct for a CBI probe into all irregularities at the world famous Hindu shrine Tirumala.

In our letters to the party high command, we even confirmed the support we are getting from as many as 76 MPs from within Congress party. There is nothing to hide. Our objectives are very clear. It is natural for us to react when efforts are being made to replace Dr Manmohan Singh with Sri  A K Antony as Prime Minister of this country. We openly protested this move through wall posters making it clear Sri Antony is the candidate of America and Vatican and Sri Pranab Mukherjee will  be candidate of Indian people.

We will continue our campaign within the party till Sri Pranab Mukherjee is made as Prime Minister of the country. We strongly believe that Dr Manmohan Singh is never a Congressmen and believer in principles and programmes of the party. He is only close to family members of Smt Sonia Gandhi.

We need not shed tears, if his government is collapsed. No Congress worker is heard or treated well during his six and half year’s regime. Only Delhi-based power brokers and corrupt party leaders are benefiting in his government. Congress workers and voters have nothing to feel great of this government. Even now more than 90 per cent of ministers in Congress governments at Center and State are horrible corrupt.

Even UPA government is only serving the corrupt allies enabling their leaders to increase their bank balances and illegal assets. CSHF is seeking Sri Pranab Mukherje to be made as Prime Minister only to bring back credit and confidence among Congress workers and its voters. Lakhs of party workers all over the country are feeling that he only can meet their aspirations, as he will not allow present corrupt practices.

It is open secret now that Congress ministers in state and central governments have been looting public to earn hundreds of cores of rupees with corrupt practices as they need to pay huge amounts to several leaders in the party high command, for their own survival. We want to put an end to such practice so that to bring back glory to the party.

We have started our campaign to make Sri Pranab Mukhrjee only responding to the wishes and ambitions of lakhs of party workers all over the country, who are convinced that only he can bring value and identity to the Congress workers and voters. Only Sri Pranab Mukherjee can bring back respect to khadi-wearing party worker.

Ms Coomi Kapoor mentioned that Sri Pranab Mukherjee is designated as No. 2 in the Cabinet. But all the Congress party workers and Congress Secular Hindu Forum also believes he is No. 1 in the cabinet. That’s why we are demanding to make him as the Prime Minister. More than 90 per cent of Prime Ministerial assignments are being attended by Sri Pranab Mukherjee. Dr Manmohan Singh remains as name-sake. Why should we allow such person to continue in power?

About 95 per cent of Congress voters are Hindus only. Congress party is enjoying power at the Center and many states only with the support of Hindus. They are now feeling ignored and cheated by UPA Government.

We also strongly reacted when severe corrupt charges were exposed against Telecom Minister Sri A Raja last month. We demanded not only to sack him from the Union Cabinet, also cut off alliance with DMK, as many DMK ministers at the Center were involved in one or other corrupt practices. Their `blackmailing’ tactics have been defaming Congress party. We asked our high command to realize DMK is badly needed Congress support for the survival of its government in Tamil Nadu, more than its support to UPA Government at the Center.  Congress need not continue in power to please such corrupt parties.

Congress Secular Hindu Forum is not a `paper tiger’ organization, as some senior journalists trying to makes others to believe. We have the support of crores of Hindus all over the country. Lakhs of people are ready to rally behind us in any programme, if we give a call. We can even organize dharna or rasta roko at the AICC head quarter or even at the residence of Smt. Sonia Gandhi, in support of our demands. 

However, we do not want to create problems to the party. We are strong believers in Gandhian principles and want to follow peaceful means and democratic methods. If Congress high command is adamant and not prepared to respect the wishes of the party cadre, Congress Secular Hindu Forum may be forced to intensify its agitational programme, as per need of the hour.

Remove Manmohan Singh – Save Congress,Save Hindustan

The Congress Secular Hindu Forum (CSHF) today urged the Congress President Smt Sonia Gandhi to remove Dr Manmohan Singh as Prime Minister and save the  Congress and also Hindustan. CSHF Central Committee General Secretary K Ravi Kumar demanded that Dr Manmohan Singh should step down owing responsibility for the Rs 1.76 lakh crore 2-G Spectrum license scandal, the biggest corrupt deal in the independent India.

According to him, Prime Minister cannot disown his responsibility after getting resignation of Telecom Minister Sri A Raja. He said the questions raised by the Supreme Court of India have proved without doubt that Prime Minister has been trying to cover up corrupt practices without taking any action against the minister Raja since last two years. Though the 2-G pricing was among the terms of references of the Empowered Group of Ministers, headed by Sri Pranab Mukherjee, Sri Raja had forced to withdraw it from the Group’s preview. Is it possible to alter terms of reference of a ministerial group without the knowledge and directive of the Prime Minister, he asked.

Ravi Kumar alleged that Prime Minister had tried his best to save Raja till end due to his own involvement in the scandal. He said that Congress President Smt Sonia Gandhi, who had removed several Chief Ministers and Ministers from their offices on allegations of corruption, should not spare Prime Minister.

He wondered that why Prime Minister remained as spectator for the last two years on the plea DMK’s support is critical for the survival of UPA Government at the Centre. In fact, he said it was DMK government in Tamil Nadu is at the mercy of out-side support from Congress party. But at the Center, he said Congress can manage to remain in power even DMK withdraw support, with the support from other groups and parties. Recalling that several ministers from DMK have been defaming the UPA Government with their severe corrupt deals, he demanded that Congress should come out from alliance with DMK.

Ravi Kumar lamented that from the very beginning, Dr Manmohan Singh have been deviating from the core principles of Congress party, formulated by leaders like Pandit Nehru and Smt Indira Gandhi and behaving like the promoter of Multi National Companies on the pressures from USA, and encouraging their unlimited corrupt practices. He recalled during recent US

President Barack Obama,  Dr Singh failed to get any specific advantage from that country, but provided Indian market for US companies so that to create additional employment to about 7 lakh US citizens.

He expressed concern that the support base of Congress party from the poor and marginalized sections of people going away from the party as they are the worst victims of Dr Manmohan Singh’s economic policies.
